A decent selection ,and when partched I was surprised by how good Hobgoblin Gold tasted but BOTW has to go to Brew York Reese's With A Spoon,my big finish in The Nags .Peanut butter and chocolate Imperial Milk Stout with a massive peanut nose, good chocolate and then vanilla and despite a 12% ABV,it slipped down.Mind you only had a half ,after a great session with Moby and the crew.

Next week quiet until the footie kicks off again.

    Powder Monkey Drunken Sailor*
    Double Barrelled/LHG 95 Windows*
    Wye Valley HPA
    Harveys Sussex Best
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale
    BrewDog Planet Pale
    Brew York Calmer Chameleon*
    Brew York Haze Of Thunder*
    Brew York Tonkoko
    Brew York Make It Simcoe*
Siren Castilian Lemon & Honey Cheesecake*
Siren/ BBNO Take Nothing For Granted*

    Salt Citra NEIPA Jnr*
    Navigation Rebel
    Animal Aardwolf
    Mallisons Barbe Rouge*
    Ascot Little Giddy
    Goffs Jester 13*

A lot of good beers to contest the title but it goes to Brew York Haze Of Thunder. Two pints slipped down with ease as would have a third but there were just too many other beers to get through in The Nags Head along with Mr Fastard and his merry men.

My capacity to misinterpret never fails me. For about five seconds I wondered who was the poor owner of '...a massive peanut nose...' until I clicked that you were referencing the aroma.

Another handful of pre-curry swifties, this week. (Well, you can't eat on an empty stomach).

    Fernandes - Half Nelson.*
    Nailmaker - Plum Porter.*
    Rat - Iron Rat.*
    Tigertops - Edwardian Porter.* (5.8%)
    Ossett - Mystic.
    Fernandes - Wee Heavy.

Some very good beers there, but the porter was wonderfully smooth, rich and satisfying. All taken at Luis Bar @ Fernandes, where quality is superb at the moment.

    Yet another late entry. Slacker.

    Brancaster Oystercatcher*
    Barshams Norfolk Topper*
    Barshams Close Call IPA*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

Enjoyed all those but BOTW has to go to Brancaster Oystercatcher. An old favourite which isn't easy to find and disappears very quickly when I do.
