Although I didn’t vote for this date I hope to make this one. But it is dependent on us getting back from Crete on the Wednesday night.
If I do it will be option A for me.
Have checked the opening times with web sites where available and Google maps. All in agreement except for Beeropolis where Google maps have 4.00pm and The Burton Bridge Inn where both the pub website and Google maps has 5.00pm which could cause a problem..

Thanks for doing that, Steve. It was sitting on my to do list for a long time, never quite making it to the top.

Burton Bridge Inn's Facebook page has 5pm through the week but 4pm Friday.

Hotel booked, spending Thursday and Friday night in Derby and travelling to Burton on the day. Train tickets also booked, fingers crossed there's no strikes or engineering works.
Big Steve is also all booked up.

I'm just coming for the day ,and arrive in Burton at 11.20 am.My departure is 19.41 so lots of time to survey the pub scene.

Taking a convoluted route viz Hertford North-Stevenage-Grantham -Nottingham - (via Derby) Burton so hoping the connections work and no strikes.

The timing of the visit has been given a new level of relevance as Molson Coors have just announced the National Brewery Centre will close on 30 October. Predictable, sad and scandalous.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

For what its worth, there's a petition on Change.org,though I couldn't work out how to link to it here.
