I only speak as I find, John. It was bloody gorgeous, and I'm still regretting not having a pint instead of a half.

When it's kept well, it can be very good...

I love Everards Tiger - always make sure I have a pint whenever I'm in or around Leicester and remain baffled by the low regard it seems to be held in on this forum.

Not me either - properly kept (as it usually is in an Everards or Project William pub), it can be a fine beer in my book.

I don't mind it either but, as with all beer styles, there are good and less good traditional brown bitters and, I find, a well kept pint of Tiger is definitely one of the good ones. Same with Bass for me.

I won't risk controversy and list the shockers but Bombardier, not seen so often now thankfully, tops the list. Perhaps Marstons have sussed it.
