Another decent mixed week, but not helped by visits to pubs in Hammersmith & Fulham; not a great place for pubbing thus far. All **+ scoring beers were consumed in The Cock Tavern, The Southampton Arms and a good trip to The Foxglove; keg beers drunk only where cask wasn't available. - good beers, but very poor cellarmanship.

    Brains - SA (c)*
    BrewDog - Punk IPA (k)
    Brewhouse - Tramshed (c)
    Burning Sky - Plateau (c)**

    Twickenham - Naked Ladies (c)

    Two runners up:

East London Brewery - Quadrant (c)***
    Saltaire - Triple Choc (c)***

Both pipped to the post at 10.00 last night, BOTW goes to Wylam - Poundage Porter (c)**** at the Southampton.

Late entry after a trip East:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Barshams Golden Close IPA*

BOTW Barshams Golden Close IPA. I've had the odd Barshams beer before but nothing especially inspiring. This was a 5% IPA, not typical with a decent malt base giving sweetness offset by just enough hoppy bitterness. Typical or not, three pints disappeared easily enough.
