Limited week with just BOTW Oakham Bishops Farewell featuring. But, as with the skipper, it was very good.

    Timmy Taylor Landlord
    Elusive Micro Ball*
    Elusive Nebulus*
    North Brew Full Fathom 5*
    Hammerton Oatmeal Stout
    Roosters Yankee*
    Animal Elk
    Animal Crow*
    Ascot Winter Reserve
    Red Cat Mosaic Pale*
    Wantsum Nectaron*
    Saltaire South Island
    Oakham Citra*

BOTW is a toss up between three, Oakham Citra (been a winner on more than one occassion so setting aside), leaving Elusive Microball, not particularly fancied by Will in The Southampton Arms and my pint there a day later was as it turned out last from the barrel, ok but no where near the quality of the 3 pints tried earlier in the week in The Alfred, incidentaly served via a sparkler and was spot on. However BOTW this week by a nose hair goes to [B]Roosters Yankee[B], everything a session citrus pale should be, worth missing the for in The Kings Arms.

So on keg I take it? The keg version is shit* compared to the cask; two different beers, IMHO. I first had it at the Scottish Stores down the road, but it wasn't there on a repeat visit.
