Another new opening in The Dale brings me up to 100, what a shame it's crap.

9 new in Burton and 13 in Derby leaves me 2 short of my start of year target, now on 198.

Crept up to a modest 86 now so far. Been a poor year for me this one but I'll try to up the pace now the footie is back on.....

Doing better lately. A productive few days around Buxton has put me up to 111. Off to Newcastle via Wakefield next week so I should net a few more.

Now up to 456 for the year...

Reached my target of 500 for the year on 22nd October and have been taking it easy since then. The 500th, on a day of five pubs in the villages a few miles south of Chesterfield (Heath, Winsick and Hasland) was suitably awful, so I've been visiting some reliable pubs in my home town instead.

237. I don't think I'll make 300 as no real travel to new areas for the rest of the year.

A new opening in Fleetwood visited after the beer festival and a straggler in Waterloo lifts me up to 102.

Not many opportunities now until the end of the year.

I did manage - just and by a matter of minutes - 100 new (genuine) pub visits in October last year, which I think is a record of sorts, at least for me.
