5 more in Manchester on Friday, none of which I would class as a pub really.

It would have been 7 if Movement had been open when its Facebook page said it was and if Lost Cat hadn't had a dickhead on the door.

    Now on 58.

Now on twelve, after a (semi)abortive visit last weekend.

    365 Days Later.

From 26th May last year when normal pubbing resumed, up to 26th of this month, I've done 440 new pubs, only about 10 being modern conversions, the rest all having a history dating back to at least the 19th century as purpose built hostelries.

    Happy New Year!

    (And well done, of course.)

No new pubs since last week, when a ridiculous 14 in Durham on Tuesday were followed by 10 in Knaresborough on Thursday (a two day Winfield?), making my May total 73 and year to date 266. Aiming for 500 for the year, and expect to slow down at some point and attempt to finish on exactly that if I can.

May might be more sedate .
.....and so it proved with just 11 new pub visits taking the year to date total to 100.Good by my standards but puny compared to some of our esteemed colleagues.

In June there will be a late flurry in Lincolnshire while boating down that way,and there are always corners of London that need ticking.I need to regain pub momentum.
