An afternoon in Todmorden added two new openings, a club that's now open to all and a pizza place that's not really a pub that has inevitably been added by Wynne Route.
Now on 106.

A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Another 26 in November so I have broken the 300 for the year, but don't look likely to make the 365.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
Well not going anywhere else new today so have ended up on 205.

296. I'd so love to have done the 300 but I don't feel like an underachiever this year.
HNY everyone.

Just 8 new pub visits in December, giving a 2022 total of 251,my best year ever.
A full non Covid year helped, compared with the 2021 total of 123 and the 2020 total of 60 so great to get back to a proper pub life.
Best wishes for 2023.

Targets hit and missed in 2022:
1) Upload all 2022 reviews before the end of the year - hit on 30th of December.
2) Upload all 2022 photographs before the end of the year - missed by a mile, having only reached mid-July by Hogmanay.
3) Reach 60% of all open Kent pubs reviewed - hit clear out of the ground (now 66.1%).
4) Reach 55% of all open Central London pubs reviewed - badly missed for the third year running (was 53.4% two years ago, down to 52.8% last year and only back to 53.3% by the end of 2022 - something to do with the mix of reviewed closures and unreviewed new openings).
5) Reach 45% of all open West Midlands pubs reviewed - some swifter progress this year (now 48.9%).
Happy New Year everyone.
I finished the year on 228, which is about par for the course for me, although I slowed right down in December thanks to a huge reviewing backlog, which I need to wade through before I head off for five days of pubbing in and around Derby at the end of the month.
