    Kent

Old Dairy: Breakfast Stout 6%abv. I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't seen any dark 'uns this Autumn, when I not only found this, but learnt that Larkins' mystical Porter was coming next. I couldn't wait for the Porter, but the stout was pretty damn fine.Full bodied, bible black, dry, chocolate.
Shepherd Neame: Master Brew Bitter 3.7% abv.To be fair, enjoyable after a long walk.
    My BOTW-ODB's Breakfast Stout.

No beer this past weekend due to man flu but a few mid week visits to The Alfred still gives up a half decent list.

    Tomos And Lilford Vale Pale*
    Tomos And Lilford Nash Point
    Ascot Winter Reserve*
    Mallisons Brit Hopped*
    Stockport West Coast IPA*
    Magpie Thieving Rougue
    Well Drawn Oatstanding Stout*
    Cross Bay Vesper
    Brentwood Falcon Punch*
    North Yorkshire NYPA*

I was very impressed with Mallisons Brit Hopped subtle but distinct citrus flavour with a nice bitterness and sessionable at 3.8 %, brewed with hop CF- 190, on this showing CF - 190 should be getting a proper name soon, an excellent BOTW

North/Thornbridge collaboration - North Bridge. A "mountain ipa" taking a mix between East and West coast IPAs.

    Croydon,Brentwood ,Richmond and Hertford.

Oakham -- Green Devil IPA *
Deya -- Steady Rolling Man Strata (keg)
    BrewDog -- AF
    Erdinger --Alkohol Frei (nominated driver)
    Sharp's -- Atlantic
    Crouch Vale -- Brewers Gold
    Young's -- Original
    Pauliner --Weiss Beir (bottle)
    New River --First Snow
    Redemption -- Big Cheif *
Five Points -- Railway Porter *
    Tring -- Death or Glory
    Harvey's -- Christmas Ale (b)

BOTW just has to go to Oakham Green Devil IPA in superb form in The George, although Big Chief and Railway Porter would have been worthy winners in it's absence.

Next week a session in The Southampton Arms if I'm allowed.

    Bit of Christmas spirit:

    TT Landlord*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Blue Monkey Infinity
    Woodforde's Old Bram
    Brancaster Brewdolph*
    Adnams Ghost Ship
    Adnams Broadside

Suffered the odd aging barrel this week. Nothing vinegary just obviously coming to the end.

Enjoyed the Brewdolph and it may have made BOTW had the welcome not been so hostile where it was served so BOTW goes to TT Landlord. In excellent nick and well poured it flew down as an appetiser to my first Christmas lunch.
