    This week:

    Woodforde's Nelson's Revenge*
    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Brancaster Oystercatcher*
    Woodforde's Once Bittern
    Moongazer Whiteface
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

All were decent but BOTW Brancaster Oystercatcher was on top form on the several occasions I found it.

    Harlow,Hertford and Hoxton.

    Mc Mullen's -- IPA
    Mc Mullens -- AK
Mighty Oak -- Jake the Snake
    New River -- Blnd Poet
    Titanic -- Plum Porter *
    Five Points -- Pale *
Crouch Vale -- Brewers Gold *
Five Points -- Railway Porter *
Weird Beard -- Mariana Trench *

I can't award BOTW two weeks running to Titanic Plum Porter ,so this week it goes to Five Points Railway Porter on sparkling form in The Wenlock Arms, along with a host of other ales.A classic London Porter with the dry, bitter finish which always demands another.

Next week boating into Rugeley and Tamworth plus footie so my cup may runneth over.

A much better selection of beers, this week.

    Brakspear - Oxford Gold.
    Oakham - Citra.*
    Leeds - Midnight Bell.*
    Beer Ink - Vellum.*
    Ossett - Voodoo.
    Tigertops - Golden Oktober.
    Tigertops - Brown Stout.
    Nailmaker - Chocolate Safari.*
    Chantry - Special Reserve.
North Riding - US Session Pale.*
    Tigertops - Green Cascade.
Five Towns - I'm Afraid of Americans.
    Chin Chin - Quantum Shift.

I really enjoyed all the highlighted beers, but the US Session Pale, made with Loral and Mosaic hops had incredible flavour for a 3.8% beer. Sampled in Harry's Bar

    North Yorkshire

Yorkshire Dales-Swale Trail Pale 3.8%abv. Grand north country pale ale.Initial sweet impression, long berry finish.
Yorkshire Dales-Butter Tubs 3.7%abv. Not as zesty as I remember it.Some sort of mineral back taste.

My BOTW-Yorkshire Dales Swale Trail Pale, taken at Kings Head
