As is my normal practice, I only post on these when I have come across an exceptional beer. And this week it is CrackleRock Dark Destroyer.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Kent;failing to find any Kent Green Hopped beers.

Canterbury ales-The wife of Bath's Ale 3.9%abv.Slightly lacking its (or her ?) usual zest.

On the can front, also available in keg form, Tonbridge-Easy Street Pale 3.9%abv,featuring plenty of Fuggles and Ernest.

    Short list but all quality:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Abbeydale Absolution*
    Adnams Ghost Ship*

All were beautifully kept and all flew through the 3 pint test.

BOTW Abbeydale Absolution. Haven't had it for a while and I'd forgotten quite how good it is.

A cold over the weekend slowed progress

Elusive Sabro Can I Get In The Sea
    Elusive/Siren Diversion Excursion
    Fierce & Noble Brizzle Haze
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale*
    Courage Best
    Cotswold Springs Rakau*
    Cotswold Springs Azacca* (3pt)
    Heritage Masseys Golden Bitter
    Beartown Creme Bearlee*
    Pamona Island Paedra* (keg)
    Ascot 5/4 Favourite*

A few pleasant beers without being outstanding, but the Cotswold Springs Azacca was good enough to tempt me thrice and is BOTW.

    Hitchin and Reading.

    Oakham -- Harlequin T90 *
Colchester -- Brazilian Chocalate & Vanilla Porter *
    Lister's -- American Pale *
    Oakham -- Bishop's Farewell *
    Oakham -- Citra *
Nene Valley -- Big Bang Theory (keg)
    Squark -- Roller
    Elusive/Siren -- Diversion Excursion
Thirst Class -- That's The Way Aha Aha I Kviek It *
North Riding -- Single Hop Cashmere *
    Elusive -- Fragola
Brouwerij Boon -- Oude Geuze Boon * (b)
    Vocation -- Divide & Conquer (c)
    Blue Monkey -- BG Sips * (b)

Some fine beer,so first among equals for BOTW to Oakham Harlequin T90 in prime condition in The Half Moon. A new british hop in this fine old style IPA.

Next week footie , a lunchtime stroll in Bristol with a former colleague and a last Thursday in Hertford should throw up some fine contenders.

A pretty good week, with eight out of 13 sampled being new:

    Allsopp's - Pale Ale (c)
    Adnams - Ghost Ship (c)
    Beavertown - Neck Oil (k)
    Dark Star - Orbit (c)
    Gun - Project Babylon (c)
    ELB - Cowcatcher (c)
    Five Points - JUPA (k)
    Guiness - Guinness (k)
    Marble - Pint (c)
    Stonehenge - Danish Dynamite (c)
Three Sods - Summery Amber Ale (c)
Three Sods - Vapour Trail (c)
    Timothy Taylor - Landlord (c)
    .
Both Three Sods were excellent, but BOTW goes to the ELB Cowcatcher, drunk at The Rochester Castle.
