    Cambridgeshire:

    Gorgeous-Gravedigger 5%abv. Soft tasting milk stout.Some sweetness,not cloying.

    Relatively quiet week:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Beartown Kodiak
    Byatt's Carpe Cerevisi*
    Ashover Brewery Liquorice*

The Carpe Cerevisi was a very decent IPA but BOTW goes to Ashover Liquorice. I'm keen on stout and I'm keen on liquorice and Ashover have blended the two beautifully.

Petersham and Barnsbury.,a very modest week.

    BrewDog -- Layer Cake *(c)
    Twickenham -- Grandstand Bitter
    Hammerton -- N1
Hammerton -- Dias De Los Muertos *(keg)

BOTW goes to Hammerton Dias De Los Muertos,a very tasty mexican cake stout on keg.Described as a pastry stout ,any heat was toned down but I enjoyed a variety of malt flavours .Supped in the Hammerton Brewery Tap ,somewhere I must spend more time in in future.

Next week sessions in Hitchin and the annual pilgrimage to the Nags Head,Reading should produce a strong list of contenders.
