Wow, I can't get near that list, despite a heavy Saturday in Huddersfield and debrief session visiting Berry Brow and Halifax.
Star of the show is easy though, Ossett White Rat in immaculate condition, especially on a brief refreshment stop at Dewsbury and (Sun) Three Pigeons in Halifax.

I was egged on a bit by Will and Retired Martin, that's my excuse and sticking to it.

Not a bad week for me but again junior next to Mick's achievements:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Batemans Beast from the East*
    Oakham Harlequin*
    TT Landlord
    Hop Back Summer Lightening
    Mallinsons Brit Hopped*
    Harvest Rock Elsie Mo*
    Blue Monkey Infinity*

Some good stuff there and as I'm not normally a fan of Batemans beers, the Beast from the East was a pleasant surprise.
BOTW goes to Oakham Harlequin described as a British IPA using Harlequin hops. I'm not sure I've ever come across Harlequin hops before but I'll look out for them in the future after this.

BOTW goes to Allsopp's IPA,brewed by the 7 times great grandson of the original brewer Samuel Allsopp.Using the family owned recipe ledger and having recovered the IP from Carlsberg,Allsopp's is back after over 60 years with this classic Burton IPA using Bramling Cross,Fuggles and Challenger hops.Brewed to 5%,it smoother than many modern IPA's ,less hop forward but very traditional.Quaffed gratis on the reopening night at The Wilton Arms, along with the very good Allsopp's Pale.

    Next week much less exciting.

Glad to hear it's re-opened. Had quite the shock not seeing it there when visiting the nearby Nag's Head almost two years ago.
