It's still the 10th Anniversary, but the group picture outside the Bartons Arms was taken (almost) 11 years ago! You can't argue with the passage of time.

That will be evident in the new team photo.

I couldn't convince my good lady of another weekend in Brum (done it for two years before the pandemic for the Yonex all England Badminton) or the virtues of the Bull Ring, especially as shes shopped it before and now it is John Lewis lite, so will be making a day of it by train..
Have got the cheep advanced tickets for the 10.15AM out of Euston to New Street and the 20.14pm back out of BNS if any of the London crowd want to sync up travel arrangements..

Surely if there's a discount for five, then anyone with a brain would grab four other willing souls at the bus stop and form a discount alliance. Do we need cash for the charabanc or will it take e-money?

I think that's what the Pubs Galore crowd were doing in 2010, under Gill's tutelage. However, 11 years later there are probably enough of us with free bus passes to scupper this idea. And plucking four random passengers from the queue to form an alliance requires you to then stay together all day. Any takers?

Don't all buses take card payments these days? Anyway, buying a Plus Bus ticket when you get your trains sorted is probably the cheapest way.

Can I suggest we visit The Bartons Arms reasonably early in the crawl while we are relatively sober otherwise it will be like trying to herd cats as the day progresses and it would be a shame for anyone who hasn't been there to miss out.We also need local knowledge about where exactly in the city centre to catch said bus. This might then define the crawl meeting place (traditional 'spoons KO anybody ?) and maybe some of the initial crawl targets.
