A pub is for life not just for Christmas
I only tend to post here when I run into a really nice beer and here's one: Jolly Sailor (Selby) Dark Nights - a seasonal special which deserves a regular slot. Described as a stout but a really easy-drinking and well-balanced dark beer.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Special mention to the Liquid Lights Turtles Have Short Legs,a very tasty 3% hazelnut MILD,but BOTW just has to go to Fyne Jarl . What a flavoursome and quaffable 3.8% ,one of the best low ABV I've come across,it flew down in volume after a couple of disappointing Saltaire pints in The Cask.
Next week tackling the tidal Trent so visits to Newark and Gainsborough ,not forgetting the footie on Sunday.
