Why not change the name of the pub. We could call it something really saucy and I am not talking HP, Worcestershire or Tomato here.

Well badminton is a bit like tennis , so a variation of that bird scratching her backside , or is that just me being a perv again

I don't think I have the power to simply change the pubs name when i cant think of a design!!...sadly!
Still no sign of a Lord Badminton and I assume as Sellers used it as a lampoon the title cannot actually exist.....I'm trawling through the history of the Beauforts?Somersets as we speak.

Yeah I ended up trawling through Wikipedia, sadly nothing really bright occurred. I keep on waiting for Soup or ob to come in and bemuse us with history.

Any historic or horsey theme (& I'm into racing) would be lost on me - the name simply suggests shuttlecocks to me...

Good work OT. I shall research some of those names to see if any eye-catching Heraldry jumps off the page. Oddly, what with all the talk of name changing, this pub was actually called 'The Half Moon' only a few years back..... Damn those Meddling breweries!!

Have you ever found yourself with too many ideas and cant decide which theme to go with? I have a feeling that may have happened to whoever did the sign for the Vulcan Arms.
