Not wishing to in any way seem to provide succour to those who promulgate these anti-vax myths, I personally wouldn't put anything past the insurance industry, and invalidating 80% of claims would be water off the duck's back, I reckon.

They are evidently down to the younger London residents now, as I have just received a letter to book an appointment for vaccination. The online procedure suggested I had missed my previous appointment (that didn't exist) and I would need to 're-book' (I did, albeit for the first time). I was able to book first and second jabs at the same time.

I too go the need to re-book message - but I'd tried it out ages ago to see what happened and got told I was too young, so I guess it stemmed from that.

I booked successfully the other week after someone told me they were taking over 60s in this area before it was officially announced, then I got a text from my GP surgery, then I got a letter through the post.

Seems like overkill but there'll always be the head in the sand types who will claim they were never notified.

I received a second letter this week inviting me to book an appointment . "Please ignore this letter if...you've had your first vaccine dose already." I received my first vaccine dose on 25 February; the letter is dated 28 February.

The source will be your insurance document and whether it refers to a Clinical Trial.

Presumably you have your insurance documents to hand. Please tell us what they say.

Really? I'm in my early 50s, live in very central/west London and haven't heard a dicky. Here's the Vaccine Calculator - when applied to me it gives a date between 28.3 and 8.4.
