    Default End of term report.

Unsurprisingly I fell short of all my targets this year. When I set them back in January who would have imagined what a year it would be!
    Anyway here goes:

    New pub visits - target 183 - total 50

    Reviews - target 1250 - total 1044

    Pubs photographed - target 1500 - total 1369

    Open pubs added - target 500 - total 463

    Not bad considering.

I was hoping to get to my 10,000th pub photographed for this site by the 10th anniversary of joining (which I think was in October). End of year total: 9488.

I had such plans! Let's hope they can be fulfilled next year instead.

Trips to Chester, London and Newcastle at the start of the year then staycationing in the summer meant I didn't too bad, it has been a miserable last quarter of the year though with either substantial meal restrictions or total lockdown.

Assuming no one here lives on the Isles of Scilly or the Isle of Man, anyone want to hazard a guess at when their first tick of 2021 will be? I'll be surprised if it comes before March.

Yes March is probably the best we can hope for, hopefully the substantial meal nonsense will be re-thought , absolutely kills a pub crawl, but then that was its aim.

Targets hit and missed in 2020:
    1) Upload all reviews and photographs before the end of the year - unfortunately, all too easy to hit last year...
    2) Reach 55% of all open Central London pubs reviewed - badly missed for the second year running (currently 53.4%).
    3) Reach 40% of all open Kent pubs reviewed - nearly hit, mostly due to staying local (currently 39.9%).
    4) Reach 40% of all open West Midlands pubs reviewed - just missed, mostly due to travel restrictions (currently 39.7%).

Achieved my boating aim for 2020 ,being only the second person to complete the IWA Silver Propeller Challenge. This meant voyages to Langley Mill and Stratford upon Avon which resulted in visiting some wonderful pubs despite falling far short of the usual new pub visits total.

Many thanks,I'm just waiting for a boatyard to attach the plaque to the outside of the boat.It took the best part of 3 years to achieve and meant travelling across the system but thankfully great pub visits along the way made it all worthwhile.

Here are the locations visited.(Not the pubs !)
