That chicken has now come home to roost. As usual, the sensible many are punished for the sins of the idiotic few.
All non-essential retail and hospitality must remain closed or close if they are not already. Restaurants and other premises can continue delivery or takeaway but alcohol will no longer be permitted for takeaway or click and collect amid concerns about people congregating around pubs and bars with takeaway drinks.

During the late 90's I was a test manager on a system Cap Gemini was writing for the NCB with regards to miners claims such as Silicosis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Vibration White Finger and lots of other good reasons not to go underground.
Depending on your role, you may well have been given access to it. Can't remember the name of it now though.
I had been trained in the 4GL language being used in the coal mining hotspot of Wokingham.

A pub is for life not just for Christmas
It's now this, I remember going there once in the very early 80's I think, but remember absolutely nothing about it.

The system that I was using between July 2000 and January 2010 was called ICMS (IRISC Claims Management System - IRISC was the name of British Coal's in-house insurance business that was privatised in 1994 and eventually bought by Capita). As the claims process started around 1998, it could well have been what you recall being in development. The vast majority of the claims - still as far as I know the biggest employer's liability claim scheme ever - were for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), also known as chronic bronchitis and emphysema, which was what I was working on.
