    BOTW will be Lees Bitter.

It won't deserve to be, but we're going to a tied Lees house this evening and that's all they have.

After that it will be full time fizz.

A slow start, but Bath Gem leads the way so far, closely followed by Old Thumper..........

Having spent a very wet week in North Wales, about the only ray of light was offered by seeing a Bragdy Mws Piws pump clip - so it's their Glaslyn Ale which is my BOTW.

PS - Also visited the home of the Purple Moose in a rather unprepossessing light industrial unit in an even more unprepossessing grey backstreet in Porthmadog to pick up a few souvenirs in bottled form to take home...

For beer quality it has to be either Mordue Workie Ticket or Wold Top Mars Magic in Jacksons Arms, Hartlepool. Not light lager like beers and well served. Hmmmm. Think BOTW will be Wold Top Mars Magic.

Best pint I've had this week was a pint in a none-too-special pub in Swindon, an unexpectedly perfect pint of Wadworth's 6X, so that's my BOTW this week.

Had some goodies this week, Pictish Warrior, Milton Sparta, Holt Humdinger and a couple of surprisingly good Weltons (I am a bit indfferent to their beers) but I'm going for another Westerham ale this week...Grasshopper .

No Westerham for me this week, unfortunately, but I did find a few other cracking beers on my travels.

Hop Back Entire Stout, Fullers London Porter, Hopdaemon Incubus and Leeds Midnight Bell are all worthy of a mention, but top of the pile this week is Red Squirrel West Coast Stout, which rounded off a good session in the Cask, Pimlico this Friday.
