    BOTW will be Lees Bitter.

It won't deserve to be, but we're going to a tied Lees house this evening and that's all they have.

After that it will be full time fizz.

A slow start, but Bath Gem leads the way so far, closely followed by Old Thumper..........

Having spent a very wet week in North Wales, about the only ray of light was offered by seeing a Bragdy Mws Piws pump clip - so it's their Glaslyn Ale which is my BOTW.

PS - Also visited the home of the Purple Moose in a rather unprepossessing light industrial unit in an even more unprepossessing grey backstreet in Porthmadog to pick up a few souvenirs in bottled form to take home...

For beer quality it has to be either Mordue Workie Ticket or Wold Top Mars Magic in Jacksons Arms, Hartlepool. Not light lager like beers and well served. Hmmmm. Think BOTW will be Wold Top Mars Magic.

After a dissapointing crawl round St Georges , just Banks or Black Sheep on offer it was a relief to get down the hill into Oakengates , White Rose Gecko and the Bunnymen and Slaters Whynot the standouts .
BOTW White Rose , Gecko and the Bunnymen , nice pump clip as well

Not much beer this week, but some quality: Adnams The Bitter, Moorehouses Black Cat MILD, Wolf Golden Jackal and Milk Street Funky Monkey. My vote goes to the Funky Monkey despite the ridiculous name and that it was slightly hazy:this beer was packed full of both fruity and hop flavours(and was a proper beer colour!)
