Had some really good beer over four days in various locations in East Sussex this week but also some dross.

    Wild Beer Bibble
    Shepherd Neame Master Brew
    Shepherd Neame Bear Island
    Shepherd Neame Five Grain Lager
Pig & Porter All These Vibes*
    Pig & Porter Jumping Frog
    Partizan IPA Sabro Cashmere*
    T. Taylors Landlord
    Dark Star Hophead
    Dark Star American Pale Ale*
    Marble Lagonda*
    Vault City Gooseberry & Elderflower*
    The Kernel Export Stout*
    Three Blind Mice Milk Worm*
    Beak Parade*
    FILO Churches
    Howling Hops Top Buzzer*
    Three Legs Oatmeal Stout*
    Beavertown Neck Oil
    Gun Babylon Project
    Harveys Sussex Best
    North Laines Victory Juice
    Fyne Ales Jarl*
    Unbarred Joosy
    Bad Seed Session IPA
    Kent Session Pale Ale*
    Parker Centurion Pale Ale
    St Peters Plum Porter*

The very best beer came from three different venues, it was good to meet up and chat with landlord Jeff Bell again on my first visit to The Ypres Castle Inn, this provided top notch Howling Hops Top Buzzer along with Three Legs Oatmeal Stout, good enough to walk a normal BOTW, but even better was Partizan IPA Sabro Cashmere In Twelve Hundred Postcards only to be Matched in The Jolly Fisherman by The Kernel Export Stout and Vault City Gooseberry & Elderflower . I'm really struggling to separate those three in bold, so for the first time ever it's a three way tie.

Bristol Beer Factory - Entourage. Made the 300 mile or so journey to Stockton's Hope And Union in good shape!

    Kent:

Kent-Prohibition 4.8%abv. A delightful zesty APA, an old favourite and my BOTW.

    Quiet week:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Binghams APA*
    Abbeydale Deception*

All good but BOTW was Binghams APA. A 5% APA which started sweet - neapolitan ice cream - but quickly went nettley, very dry and moreish.

Much less beer than expected,so rather envious of Moby's extravaganza.

    Wye Valley -- Butty Bach
    Severn Valley -- Game Bird
    BrewDog -- Punk IPA (c)
BrewDog -- Dead Pony Club (c)

BOTW goes to Severn Valley Game Bird,a decent golden ale brewed for The Pheasant.

Next week back west along the Trent & Mersey to visit Burton, then Tamworth before a session in The Harp.
