An early nomination from me as I wont be able to access the worldwide interweb for the next week. After a poor week's drinking sadly interupted by work, the only notable beer was Sharp's Doom Bar in The Old Barge,Hertford so by default my BOTW.

Next week exploring the waterways and pubs around Rugeley,Polesworth,Coventry and possibly Rugby so should be armed with a better BOTW next time out .

I must put down Driftwood Alfie's Revenge 6.5% that I enjoyed at the Lizard 2000 Helston beer festival yesterday. It was fantastic for flavour, and went down very well.

Only 3 guests on in the Station last night (there are 6 abbeydale going on today) Bazens Summer Ale , Purbeck IPA and Rudgate Special , a quick visit to the Fighting Cocks , Oakhams Citra was cut short by the Fire Alarm going off so a quick dash across the road to the Crown and a Beowulf Folded Cross , dont think i will get to the pub tonight so BOTW is Rudgate Special

Only managed to get to the pub yesterday but what a range to choose from in York. I read about this beer on Tandlemans Blog, and when I saw it in a pub I had to try it and guess what he was spot on. So my BOTW is going to be Shipyard Independence

The picture on Tandlemans blog was taken in the Baum.

I had 3 pints of it on Tuesday so Shipyard Independence is also my BOTW.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Garden Ladder's mini fest ystdy, 4 Brodie's on stillage, 2 Redemption & a.n.other on HP. I was equally surprised at the quality of the Redemption beers, their Pale Ale can have my botw.

There were four Brewdog beers on at the Bree Louise Euston earlier this week.

    Trashy Blond 4.1%
    5am Saint 5%
    Punk IPA 6%
    Paradox 10%

Tried them all and my BoTW goes to Brewdog 5am Saint
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.
