Beers drunk and enjoyed this week (bottled unless noted; *= first time drinking this beer):

    Allendale Dirty Deeds IPA 6.6%
    Allendale Wanderlust IPA 6.5%
Black Sheep Imperial Russian Imperial Stout 8.5%
    *La Trappe Bockbier 7.0%
Williams Bros Caesar Augustus Lager/IPA crossover (can) 4.0%
    *Allendale Wagtail Bitter 3.8%
    *Cader Ales Idris Bitter 4.0%
*Bragdy Mona Eilian Pale (can) 4.5%
*Williams Bros Paradigm Shift Red IPA 6.2%
*Northern Monk/Other Half Best Bitter (can) 4.3%
    Harveys Black Stout (can) 4.8%
*Wild Horse Tramcar IPA (can) 6.5%
*Tenby Brewing Black Flag Barti Ddu Porter (can) 5.5%
Williams Bros Joker IPA (can) 5.0%
    Williams Bros Profanity Stout 7.0%
Harveys Imperial Extra Double Stout 9.0%

So many good beers - and you can read what I thought about them on the pubs galore bar thread (#446 onwards). But to save you the trouble of looking it up, this was my reaction to what will be my beer of the week:

Williams Bros: Paradigm Shift 6.2%. Have I mentioned this is one of my favourite breweries? And yet this is the first time I've tasted this beer. It's a Red IPA, and if I hadn't poured it myself from bottle to glass, I'd have thought it was cask conditioned. (Except I'm not in a pub, etc.) Very smooth and malty, with subtly balanced hoppiness. Or should that be happiness?

Very impressive. I must get some more of their beers. Oh, wait a minute, I already have. There's forethought.

Close runners up were Allendale Wagtail Bitter 3.8% and Cader Ales Idris Bitter 4.0%. (Harveys Imperial Extra Double Stout also top notch, it's got to be said.)

    A relatively quiet week

    BrewDog Punk IPA
    North Brewing Lost Cosmonauts
    Northern Monk New World
    Magic Rock Dark Arts
    Five Points JUPA
    Duvel Tripel Hop Citra
    Box Steam Pony Truck

All pretty good except the Pony Truck which I'm drinking right now, in fact its about to go down the sink.
BOTW though is the rather excellent Duvel Tripel Hop Citra 9.5% but so easy to drink, good value at £2.50 for a 330cl bottle from Tescos.

Quiet week for me with a little more choice than usual

    Augustiner - Helles
    Roosters - Yankee
Harveys - Imperial Extra Double Stout
    Roosters - Baby Faced Assassin
Brasserie St Omer - Biere Continental
    Acorn - Barnsley Bitter
    Rudgate - Ruby Mild
    Leffe - Bruin

The French beer was a bottle found at the back of a cupboard, it was awful, anyway BOTW with Harrogate just beating Munich, Roosters - Yankee

    Be Saturday soon!

    Marble Berimbolo
    Marble Cross Collar
    Vocation/Marble Hop, Skip and Juice
    BrewDog Dead Pony Club
    Marble Lagonda IPA
    Vocation Smash and Grab
    Oakham Citra

All deserved a star and I was pleasantly surprised by the Dead Pony Club, not my usual but a well appreciated fathers day gift. More warm weather means that BOTW goes to Marble Berimbolo as the thirst quencher of choice.

    More of the same,all canned.

    BrewDog -- Elvis Juice
    Vocation -- Life & Death
    BrewDog/Cloudwater -- New England IPA
    Vocation -- Love & Hate
    BrewDog/Evil Twin -- Roaster Coaster

That's a lot of strong beer and not for the first time BOTW goes to BrewDog/Evil Twin Roaster Coaster ,the nitro widget really does help.

Next week promises a wider selection ,maybe some draught along with a Titanic delivery while doing some boat painting prep. The glossing may have to wait until the showers have passed away.
