    No. 5 is a well known one so I might have that right, hopeless on the rest unless No. 10 refers to The Hitch Hikers Guide to The Galaxy.

    The Regent's Canal's Wenlock Basin and The Wenlock Arms - not sure which came first though.

    The Seven Stars

    The Bull & Gate - the Boulogne Gate.

    Richard Harris was one of the Wild Geese and could frequently be seen in The Coal Hole

    The Tipperary - although the pub didn't adopt this name until around 1968!

    10. Which pub’s contemporary name is influenced by the creators of a runcible spoon and the heart of gold?
    Owl & Hitchhiker - Edward Lear wrote The Owl and the Pussycat which features the runcible spoon and the Heart of Gold was the spaceship at the centre of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, written by Douglas Adams; both Adams and Lear were [Borough of] Islington residents, hence the stupid name.
