    A few good ones on that list, I'd agree with most. We're not limited to WW2 are we?

    There are a couple of decent ones depicting the Vietnam War but mostly they're over-long US navel gazing or re-fighting a lost war.

    Apocalypse Now
    The Deer Hunter

    Over-long US navel gazing, I fell asleep during Apocalypse Now it was so tedious, Conrad's Heart of Darkness was much better, and a bloody sight shorter.

    PS I think I fell asleep during the Deer Hunter as well, notable only for the music.
