If its a properly run pub there should be nothing wrong with the beer,if its crowded such is life, I'll be straight in there.

I'm hearing on the News today that pubs & restaurants are likely to be the last to open up. They're talking about them staying closed for months rather than weeks. If they are still enforcing the distancing it's hard to see how a pub could viably operate.

One in - one out, a long queue and an even longer wait.

Especially in a Wetherspoons, and they'll ask "who's next?"

Nearly always a long wait in Spoons.

I am the same. I probably won't dash out on opening day for the same reason that I don't go out Xmas Eve or New Years Eve. I prefer everyday normality and not rammed pubs, and as Wittenden says, Real Ale will take a while to come on tap with the pubs unlikely to get much notice of reopening.

I only go to PuG crawls in the North because it's hard to get back to North Wales from the South (and Far East) but Birmingham a definite.

Could be a record attendance. Will it be ticket only?

Absolutely. It will be the hospitality and entertainment industries that open last and as you say, more likely many more months than years. Any relaxation on the curfew will probably be for little more than visiting relatives. That said, I'll be in poll position on P. E. Day (Pub Event Day).
