After dithering over what constitutes an action movie, here's my list. I've tried not to include films already mentioned in ETA's original thread.

    The Rock.
    Thunderball.
    You Only Live Twice.
    Enter The Dragon.
    Taken.
    The Bourne Ultimatum.
    Day of the Jackal.
Assault on Precinct 13. (1976 version)
    V for Vendetta.
    Terminator 2.
    Kill Bill 1&2.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
    Hunt for Red October.
    Die Hard.
'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.

Forgot about these too, not having seen either for about 40 years!

Just watched all three John Wick films, they're right up there.

Not sure if it counts as "action" but I just spent a couple of pleasant hours watching The Martian, it's Apollo 13 with knobs on, definitely recommended.

The Rudgate Ruby Mild helped as well .
