Most albums never really stayed with me out of a few plays as I'm a fussy bastard and just want to hear the tracks I like.

    Those studio albums I can usually listen to without the itch of wanting to skip;

Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd (though Money always jars a bit)
    Trailer Park - Beth Orton
BRMC - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
    Hats - Blue Nile
    Parklife - Blur
The biggest winners are the Cocteau Twins - I can listen to pretty much any album of theirs in its entireity.
Similar for the Cure between Seventeen Seconds and Wish.
    Albumen - The Egg
    Skying/Primary Colours - The Horrors
The Big Roar - Joy Formidable
    Computer World - Kraftwerk
    Split - Lush
Holy Bible - Manic Street Preachers
Attack of the Grey Lantern/Six - Mansun
    Loveless - My Bloody Valentine
The Comforts of Madness/In Ribbons - Pale Saints
    The Italian Flag - Prolapse
    Foxbase Alpha - St Etienne
    Takk - Sigur Ros
New Gold Dream/Sons & Sisters - Simple Minds
Just for a Day - Slowdive
Reading, Writing & Arithmatic - The Sundays

The Lexicon of Love - ABC
The Luxury Gap - Heaven 17
New Boots and Panties!! - Ian Dury and the Blockheads
    Parklife - Blur
Penthouse and Pavement - Heaven 17
    Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - Beatles

You're the only other person I know that has ever mentioned The Horrors and their Primary Colours album. I still listen to it a few times a year, and often repeat the closer "Sea Within A Sea" several times. Pretty sure the album got a nod for the Mercury Prize that year without checking. Also good to see another nod for MBV's Loveless.

This very nearly made the final cut for my list - it's a terrific album and I was fortunate enough to see them perform it in full at the Royal Albert Hall last year. It was also my 'lucky' album during AFC Bournemouth's League 1 and 2 promotion seasons - I'm not particularly superstitious but we always seemed to get a result whenever I listened to the album on the walk from the station to Dean Court, so it became a bit of a ritual for a few years!

Mirror's Image for me. Maybe it's the Back in Black style electronic bongs at the beginning...

I didn't know they played it all at the RAH - gutted, I would have gone!!!

It's a great album, mixes up a soup of Loveless, Joy Division, Slowdive and some early Simple Minds, a pretty heady concotion.

Sadly Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk has died as well.

Scenes from Breaking Glass were filmed outside Tapping the Admiral -
    Captures 17 and 24.

King Kurt's not a name I've heard in 35 years...

Breaking Glass was a good film and a great album. Haven't seen the film for years.

I used to knock around with a few Psychobilly's back in the day. King Kurt, Meteors, Guana Batz, Cramps, Stingrays...

Guana Batz - likewise not heard of for 35-odd years. Topical too, given that the plague probably came from bat guano.
