Apols if this has been posted before:

"A 25-year-old man has been questioned by police after a firearm incident at a pub in Penrhyndeudraeth in Gwynedd.

It is understood to have followed a row between new pub managers and people ordering their drinks in Welsh."

A bar in Wakefield is to re-name itself after the notorious prison inmate Charles Bronson, currently residing in the local high security nick:

Ye Gods. Only in bloody Wakefield. What next, the Fred West Arms?

Many pubs by their names commemorate evil deeds carried out in years gone by. I wonder how much time must pass before reference to these crimes is acceptable. What is unspeakable today becomes just another footnote in history to those who follow us. In no way do I wish to diminish the horror of recently committed crimes

I like to think that's an ironic statement, given the incident took place in North Wales.
