I still feel quite cross about this. How that ornery old mule Humphrey can claim ownership of the county's symbol still beggars belief. Was really hoping for a verdict in Cropton's favour.

Puts it into perspective, loads more chances of being hit by a falling satellite than winning the Lottery

Any one good at maths? What are chances of lottery winner being hit by satellite?

Last up, any nominations for a pub for it to fall on?

I suspect we can all think of a few it should fall on.

I think you might have got you maths a bit mixed up there. If I've understood it correctly, the chances of YOU being hit by the satellite are 1 in 20 trillion, much as the odds of You winning the lottery are one in 14 million.
The chances of SOMEONE being hit by the satellite are 1 in 3,200, whilst the chances of SOMEONE winning the lottery are, I imagine, pretty high.

As for choosing a pub for it to fall on, this one might be able to put it to use as a pub sign. http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/36749/

Default Tevelvised Sports matches in Pubs - Sensible Decision?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15162241

Apart from the obvious pleasure of seeing a small, local business being looked after by the European courts for a change, it's also good to see a pub being able to cut its costs while offering customers a little entertainment.

And the League can afford it, as can the broadcasters.

Or am I out of step with public opinion here?
