I was in http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/43705/ on friday which i think was opening night. I cant remember much about it(heavy session at Thirsk races) but seem to recall 8 real ales and a lot of faces that i recognized from the swan and the slip inn. Wish them all the best.

The Charlton Arms in Oakengates went down the topless barmaid route , lasted a couple of weeks , closed down and is now demolished , great buisness idea
