Why are brewery's (sic) delivering direct to Joe Public in ME13 area, do so and you will lose ALL my business, I have supported most of you for years, it's your turn to support your local independent pubs by not bypassing us in the hard times.

Interesting point of view, but if I lived in Faversham, and wasn't a regular of the 'phant, why shouldn't I order direct from the brewer? Also, if I'm not a regular, should I expect the pub to deliver to me?

In happier times,Larkins' Alehouse is the nearest thing I have to a regular haunt, and they are delivering. However, I live a quarter of an hour's drive away, so I would feel a bit cheeky to ask for a delivery!

A slightly selfish point of view, the breweries have to survive as well.

Exactly. He seems to be behaving as if the breweries owe him a living, as if he should have a monopoly on the sale and distribution of their beers. If he wants to have a go at someone, perhaps he should take a pop at the customers, but then they won't be his customers for much longer...

He is probably pissed off at the breweries selling it cheaper than he is or can because of his overheads.

Of course. As Moby says: 'A slightly selfish point of view'. That's why he's throwing a tantrum.

    Here is some sort-of news.
