I noticed that they say they are a London brand since the 18hundreds.Youngs pubs may be but the beer is certainly not from London. Personally think that the rebranding is a bit old school and frankly shit.Bit like their Marstons brewed beer.That said they are pretty successful at running pubs and they got out of brewing at the right time so deserve some credit for that.
This may have something to do with what I read somewhere, that the younger drinker doesn't take to drinking something called 'bitter', which isn't the most flattering of adjectives. Apparently some brewers are leaning towards branding their products as 'ale' rather than 'bitter'.
