What really annoys me is children in pubs playing Space Invaders (or whatever is the modern equivalent) on iPads.

I remember playing Space Invaders for the very first time in a pub and I think it was the Princess Louise in 1978 when it was being run as a Free House. I've got a program called MAME (Multi Arcade Machine Emulator) on my "device" at home which is a desktop PC. I love many of those old arcade games (Galaxians, Space Firebirds, Carnival, Frogger and Mr Do etc etc etc). I've always been rubbish at these things and nowadays blame the lack of a decent set of game controllers for being so useless at them.

What really annoys me is the useless parents that have as much control over their hideous brats as Theresa May has on the ERG and ignores what they are doing because they are jabbing a mobile phone. This happened to me tonight on the train back to Euston.

Thwaites have partnered with the Oxford/Cambridge boat race and launched a new beer under the Wainwrights brand.I think it was called Altitude and is a cask beer designed to be served at 4 degrees. Cask is fuc*ed.
