While I will class it as two separate bars (they don't consider themselves as pubs)the owners say its an extension of the Euston Tap and are claiming with 47 taps between them its the biggest choice in London. Good marketing ploy but patently flawed imo.

Popped into the East Lodge this evening. The sign outside says 'Euston Tap' and the interior is a mirror image of the West Lodge (except the bench down one side and superior toilet facilities). Felt very much like an extension of the original bar rather than a separate venture (as was the case when it was the Cider Tap). Bar staff were running back and forth across the road depending on how busy each bar was.

The concept of only putting on beers from the North of England seems to have been knocked on the head, as there were several available from London micros. 8 cask and 12 keg. Had a good pint of Thornbridge Stout for £3.80 - the Cloudwater DIPA was £11.00 a pint!!

Firstly of course, let me say that the figures for the last week are somewhat skewed due to the large number of Christmas do's that I've had to attend. I'm sure at any other time of the year I'd be like a Kuwaiti.

As it happens on this occasion, it says I'm like a Namibian but then goes on to say I drink more than a native of Belarus, the heaviest drinking country in the world???
