In the distant past, I remember a long Sunday walk to the Victoria Inn only to find it closed (as were all other pubs in Meirionnydd at the time). Changed now, thank goodness...
Not sure if this is old news.

The Porcupine
I am now on 10,765,i did a new one today that is not on the site which i will add shortly.
I have just started doing some towns in South Yorkshire and there are loads of pubs for me to do there,i would have thought there were around 50,000 pubs in this country.
I would also like to bet that none of them are married with children,i am married and have two grown up kids ,plus a grandson, and my son gets married next Saturday, this puts a strain on money and pub crawling .
