This map certainly highlights what a poor selection of pubs parts of North West London have and why Spoons get selected for the GBG. JJ Moons in Wembley which is not one of the better Spoons (it only has five handpumps) is selected for three stations Stonebridge Park, Wembley Central and North Wembley. The JJ Moons at Kingsbury which I haven't been to is selected for both Kingsbury and Wembley Park while south on the Jubilee line the Cricklewood Beaten Docket is selected for Neasden, Dollis Hill and Willesden Green. It's not really that near any of them!

The Moon on the Hill which is virtually next door to Harrow on the Hill Station is recommended for Harrow and Wealdstone and Kenton (The New Moon is three bus stops away) while Harrow on the Hill gets the Fuller's Castle which is a fair walk up through Harrow School but was a superb Fuller's house when I last went there.

Finally is the Woodins Shades really the best pub at Liverpool Street? I remember it as a basic Bass pub from way back. It's not in the current GBG but the Hamilto Hall and Magpie are.

Stumbled across this unusual and rather niche website.

Please be warned that the link contains images of dogs on pub furnishings which may upset some PuG contributors.

    Thanks. I'd forgotten that one!
