Revolution have declared a CVA: 6 of their bars are to close and they will be seeking a "significant" rent reduction on 7 more. The other 37 are apparently trading satisfactorily (or were until latest lockdowns), while 23 more in the group including the Revolucion de Cuba branded ones are not affected.

Can't say that I would miss any of them.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Sounds like he gets some of it but still misses a few bits - higher prices? Oh dear, at least he doesn’t advocate being a poncy pub themed restaurant run by err ......TomKerridge.

We can only hope some of the more useless breweries will perish and the better ones survive. Sadly pure Darwinism doesn’t always work out and some good ones will go while some duffers hang on. New thread “breweries we won’t miss” or is that cruel and cynical?

A balance will be found. Breweries we won't miss? why not.

See Dark Star-originally fine beer, now languishing in the coils of international business. Haven't tried their beers in ages, even though Hophead is readily available here.

Look at the unexpected demise of Great Heck a few months back, for example (pre-Covid-19, too).

The Hophead is poor nowadays in my opinion, but their other beers seem fine.
