Don't usually do this, but I have to nominate the cask version of the '13% Belgian Royal Stout' known as Black Albert from the De Struise brewery in Belgium, a one-off for Fuggles in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells; £6.00 for a half, but worth every penny.

A good solid bunch, with the US IPA just pipping the MSM. I'd not had a North Riding beer in ages, so I really enjoyed this fabulous US style pale made with Ekuanot and Centennial. A terrific bitter finish.

I've not had a stinker for ages, but I really didn't like the Mango. Made with Mosaic hops, I was expecting hints of tropical fruit, but with some dryness. Instead it was like half a pint of syrup from a tin. Made my toes curl.

You should try Laine's Mangolicious - like a pint of GK IPA with a mango Berocca tossed into it; I think the moral of the story is to stay clear of mango flavoured beers.

Had this the other day: Hoppy Citrus Fruity I won't be having it again. The Side Pocket and Landlord were decent and sensible alternatives.
