As this Guardian article makes clear, PETA is an organisation that doesn't mind receiving embarrassing press coverage if it gets people talking about their issues.

Not sure how much of a discussion will ensue on this forum...
Speaking of the Guardian, I wonder if their journalist Peta Bee will side with PETA and change her name to the homophonic 'Bea' in sympathy; beekeeping is anathema to PETA.

Perhaps The Charles Lamb will be targeted...

I've been to Wool in Dorset to visit a tank museum. It was after the 1970s so I wasn't wearing a knitted tank top.

Probably not really the place for these gesture politics (in spite of my rant the other night) so I'll just say that for me Viz has hit it on the nail with the spread on pages 28-29 of the current edition (281), I especially liked what's coming next week and hope they do that one too.

It's a sloppy article because it blames economic reasons at the start and concludes by saying that the same amount of money is being spent.

Ancient drink of mead revived by new fanbase of younger drinkers

"Regional beer festivals organised by the real ale group Camra now often have well-stocked mead sections."

Grauniad readers' drink if there ever was...
