And the slice of lemon in a G & T makes two of the five, packet of cheese & onion crisps makes 3, pork pie with pickle makes 4, last a pickled gherkin makes 5, job done, in fact you could top it up by drinking pint of cider for the apples content
I drink to make others more interesting

Now they can spend their spare time going around all the ones that have opened or re-opened since they started! There must be hundreds if not thousands that have closed down.

I don't want to belittle a magnificent effort, but aren't there more than 17000 pubs in England?
remember: book your Christmas early at Sand Martin! £100 bonus!

Thanks TM, that was precisely my thoughts. 17,000 and they've done every pub in England and Wales?! They must be using the wrong pub site

Also if you are reading this Al10000, how many are you up to now?

Weekends in Wales? That must have been a dry old time:aren't the pubs shut on Sunday? They were the last time I was there when I was about 18.

I believe the last bastion of Sunday closing, the Lleyn Peninsula, gave up the ghost some years ago now, conceding they could open. I'm sure they would have done so long before that, if places like working clubs & golf courses hadn't been exempt...
