But surely the point is that a nationally available brand (ugh) ought at the very least to be kept in top condition wherever it is available. Instead, these beers are the apparent default option for places that don't "do" real ale. Why don't the lazy buggers who make these ubiquitous beers also follow up to make sure they are kept and served in a way that will enhance their brand's reputation? Have they no pride (sorry, pun arrived unexpectedly).

Or better still, why not leave the TTLL in Yorkshire and the FLP in London, because either they don't travel well or they're being dispensed without care in pubs that don't know (or can't be bothered to find out) how to look after them properly. Or both.
Now Fuller Smith and Turner have sold out to some faceless multinational,I take the opportunity to give their products a fairly wide berth, including Hophead, which hasn't been up to much recently in my opinion.

I can't stand the woman, to be honest. She comes across as the kind of woman you would not want to have any kind of conversation with as she'll just be waiting for an opportunity to take something the wrong way and twist it out of context to suit her "sexism in beer" agenda. She seems to be full of hate and anger. Perhaps she should consider partaking of a Snickers?

I know the name but little else about her. It sounds like she's the Hatie Cockpins of the beer world.

I think I'd rather go out for a pint with Hopkins to be honest, and that is saying something.

I always thought Ms Cole she was from Liverpool but according to her Twitter profile she is based in London. You can keep her.

She crops up in Twitter threads from time to time, thankfully I haven't seen anything of her recently, which has saved me straining myself while rolling my eyes.

Since the likely new owners are New River Retail or Admiral Taverns, don't expect them to be pubs at all for much longer

That's another one on the 51 bus route!
There's one opening near me called the Stag & Lantern when they get around to converting the shop. E4 is a disaster area for pubs so it will be very welcome.
