Default New? Brewery in Highgate (London)

Not the Midland Highgate, a couple of odd comments “We do everything by hand, no automation whatsoever, from starting the beer to getting it in bottles, casks and kegs" and "They can even taste fresh “wort” – a liquid byproduct of brewing" particularly confused me. How journalism works I suppose.

Hopefully that is the journalist's take on things and not the brewer's.

Not really a new brewery they have been brewing in the basement since he took over in 2016 .He has bought a bigger kit and moved it to the rear of the pub.Got to say i have been impressed with the 6 beers I have had from him.He usually has on at least 3 cask beers and as few seem to drink it its seems even more impressive.

    Default Small Brewers Relief

" the SBDRC, SBR, PBD and a whole lot of other acronyms that don’t really make much sense to your average drinker, let alone what the proposals might mean. Hopefully this will help clear it up"

    Hmmn, that's cleared that up

Devil in the detail, last sentence

Why does the phrase "I bet it's Doom Bore" keep pounding through my head! I'd be quite happy to tip a free pint of it over the floor of a pub I wouldn't dream of visiting!
