In my opinion the Cafe Royal in Edinburgh sells crap beer and they charge an arm & a leg for it as well.
If I had to choose 2 in Edinburgh I think I'd go for Kays Bar & The Guildford, or maybe Blue Blazer, or Bow Bar or Halfway House, or Cloisters or.....
Anyway, not those two.

Looks like the usual recycling of old favourites which is fairly typical of Protzy, although a couple weren't even in his Top 500 book a few years back.
Although Whitelocks is unmissable when visiting Leeds, for its fabulous interior, the beer quality is rather variable, with a tendency to be served too cold. There are at least half a dozen better places, based purely on beer.
