£1 isn't enough to tempt me to drink the stuff, let along buy it.

Agree. But I had a Fuller's jubilee-themed beer at The Bear a couple of days ago (no Dark Star options on) and it was actually a Fuller's beer where I'd have ordered a second pint. I've had the Young's jubilee beer at a couple of joints and unsurprisingly, there's no Special on, so I suspect this was just Special rebadged for the week.

I'd probably need a couple of joints just to drink the stuff.

I had the M&S (brewed by Elgood's) Platinum Jubilee Ale and I thought it was pretty decent. The article mentions purchasing a 12-pack but I found them available or individual sale in M&S at £3 each for a 660ml bottle.

Aldi had four jubilee themed cans in, under the fictitious "Great British Brewing Co." brand - British Lager, British Ale, Session Pale and Session IPA. Like a mug I bought them and have to say I would not particularly recommend any of them. The British Ale was probably the best of a fairly mediocre bunch, probably helped by being an ale/lager hybrid which made it stand out as something a bit different.
