    Default Most seen bands

In another thread Al mentions that he's seen Half Man Half Biscuit 16 times.

My most seen are The Jam & The Buzzcocks with 8 each.

Richard Thompson is third with 5.

Although a crap punk band called The Worst may be in there as they seemed to support anyone who didn't have a support act at the Electric Circus.

I'm not counting them though as they really were The Worst and I wouldn't have paid to see them

How many times have you seen your favourite bands?

Cant compete with the above numbers, but I have seen British Sea Power three times.

Manic Street Preachers - 13 times
…And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - 7
    Mogwai - 6
Bob Mould, Super Furry Animals, China Drum - 5
Martha, Live, Pixies, Ash, My Vitriol, Therapy? - 4 (Therapy? should be 5, as I was due to see them again last week, but that's now obviously been postponed to later this year)

All being well in the summer, Pearl Jam and Shame will join the list on four occasions, whilst Pixies will move up to five.

    Now there's a band I'd forgotten about.

I have an album of theirs, Do you Like Rock Music? which I think was a top ten album.

It's a long time ago now but I think I saw the Floyd 7 times between Oct 1969 and Earls Court 1973.

Was also nominated for the Mercury Prize, although IMHO their debut The Decline of British Sea Power was better (and has a great title).

I've seen Jethro Tull 8, possibly 9 times ,can't remember exactly.
    Wishbone Ash 5 times .
Bob Kerrs Whoopee Band at least 5 times probably more, on regular trips to The Half Moon in Putney
    The Who 3 times.
All the above somewhere between the late 70s to around 1990, gigs have been few and far between after this.

I Remember meeting Roger on a PUG trip a few years ago.He had seen over 3000 bands or something like that.Athough he might not be the sort of guy to see the same gig twice.
