I suspect I'm the oldest or at least one of them. I'm 68 almost 69 and my next birthday should have been a Bank Holiday!
My last session in a pub was my 70th birthday on March 14th. After that the government sent me into 12 weeks isolation for being in the old gits club!

Here was me thinking I was 53, until Mrs A helpfully pointed out that I'm actually 54 - that's women for you! Am thinking of exchanging her for a younger model

Here's hoping the pubs are open in October for the next one...

Bit of a coincidence this thread, yesterday was my 58th birthday. I celebrated wildly, I did two "Expert" level Sudoku puzzles and walked anti-clockwise around our small garden for a radical change from my usual route. Anyway, like Jim, sometimes I feel much older, then surprisingly unexpectedly I have the occasional day when I feel young and energised. We're all as young, or as old, as we feel.
    Ok, maybe just for one......................

    A belated happy birthday.
At 59 and 3/4, in my head I feel young, my body often begs to differ

Funny that. The second time I met you, you were a year younger than the first time.

    Smiling.

I work with a fellow who is of similar age to me but genuinely has not usually got an exact clue as to his own age. Once, on realising it was his birthday and therefore being called out for cakes, he actually phoned his wife to check his age. He was two years out in his own estimation; true tale.
