Pen and paper is still working well, and you can even forget your last digit

Managed a pub with no real mask requirement (although I did) and I ordered and stood at the bar and paid there as well. Welcome back to common sense.

The ale updates in the app are impressive. On which note, have you scrolled down a spoons page on PG lately

Interestingly the same app is used by Stonegate, Greene King, Butcombe, St Austell, Brains, Hydes & McMullen (possibly more but those are the ones I've found so far). They don't seem as good at being up to date which is odd as it is tied into their EPOS system.
In my local Stonegate a couple of weeks back they had Ale 1 - £2.25, Ale 2 - £2.45, Ale 3 - £2.65 & Butcombe £2.85. I already knew they only had Butcombe on having checked the clips, so I tried ordering an Ale 1 and got a Butcombe at a discount.

I should add that it will probably stop working when they next make a change to the app, so might not last long. Or might last years, no way of knowing.

Well, in my nearest 'Spoons, one of the guest ales has been on since a week last Saturday - Tring Nosebag (on since 05/06 at 14:46). Looks like one more reason for not going in one of Tim Martin's pubs.
