The Dering Arms Perhaps not to everyone's taste, being probably more restaurant than pub.A fine baronial , heritage public bar and the longest standing guv'nor in the area, who cooks a mean fish.

The Grocers, Irlam. Though not a great month with a few stalwarts disappointing me a bit in Urmston, Stockton, Manchester and Yarm.

    The Thatched House

Excellent pub, will have to return here for a longer session next time.

My visit was way too brief.
The town Spoons is the only one I can recall visiting (morning excluded) when hardly anyone was just drinking.

The Mitre - and a lame excuse for a first visit, given that I only live 25 minutes' walk from it.
